Salada Foods Jamaica Limited We are the largest of four coffee processing companies in Jamaica, and one of two soluble coffee processing plants in the Caribbean. The Company has been in the coffee processing business since 1958. With a total of over 100 man years of expertise, Salada Foods Jamaica caters to the wide ranging tastes of all coffee lovers, and supplies a full complement of Jamaican coffees in roasted and ground, roasted whole beans and soluble coffee (instants).
The instant line includes Mountain Peak, Mountain Peak Decaffeinated, and shirriff Instant Coffee. A wholly owned Jamaican company, Salada Foods Jamaica is listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange. Our Offices The Company maintains an intensive quality assurance operation, and is committed to an ongoing programme of research and development. A recent upgrading project featured the installation of more advanced processing equipment. Mountain Peak Roasted Coffee Beans The Company works closely with the Government's Coffee Industry Board, which regulates the production, processing and marketing of Jamaican coffee beans. Salada Foods is their largest local purchaser. The CIB, inspects every shipment leaving the plant, to ensure compliance with regulating quality standards. In addition, Salada Foods Jamaica is integrally involved in the national effort to expand local acreages of all varieties of Jamaican coffee, and to increase export supplies. Salada Foods Jamaica enjoys a reputation for superior quality products in export markets throughout the Caribbean, North America and Europe, as well as in Near and Far Eastern countries.
